Challenge

Assessing a child’s health is one of the hardest tasks in medical practice. Together with doctors from the Wrocław Medical University (UMW), we set out to build an AI-based tool that meets this challenge by combining simulation of real clinical cases, multimedia materials and feedback mechanisms.

Project goals

  • Developing the system architecture concept covering a training app and an AI-based video-analysis module.
  • Designing the user experience (UX/UI) for doctors and medical students.
  • Preparing an environment for training artificial-intelligence models on secure, GDPR-compliant data.
  • Supporting the planning of clinical validation and the phased rollout of the app.
  • Ensuring compliance with the regulatory requirements for med-tech solutions.

Recordings in the database

The recording base keeps growing. It is the foundation on which the AI algorithms that detect alarming symptoms in children are trained.

Partner hospitals

Paediatric facilities working with us to collect clinical data and validate the system under real-world medical-practice conditions.

Awards and distinctions

Recognised by Money.pl, PARP and the K.I.D.S. Foundation for a breakthrough use of AI in paediatrics and in supporting children’s medical triage.

As a paediatrician, I know how crucial the first minutes of assessing a child are. If Kid AID helps make the right clinical decision faster even once, that will be the greatest reward for me.
